Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy. We need that flexibility so that we are able to maintain a healthy range of motion.

When we are stressed, it's natural for our muscles to tense up. When we stretch it increases blood circulation to the entire body boosting your energy levels. These benefits help you calm your mind and can help you feel less stressed.

As a general rule stretching should always be done after exercising. If not, at least three or four times a week to keep that flexibility. If you feel tightness in an area, you can even stretch twice a day.
